Before you add the bot
Is PexoBot really free?
Yes. Every module except Bot appearance and Custom functions works for free with no time limit. PexoBot+ raises the limits and removes ads.
What permissions does the bot need?
Discord shows the list when you add it. The bot only uses them in modules you turn on, such as managing roles for auto roles. Disabled modules do nothing.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You set everything up in the browser dashboard and see right away how a message will look on Discord. Custom code in Lua and JavaScript is only for those who want it.
Who can see my server settings?
Only people with the Manage Server permission, checked on every change. AI API keys are stored encrypted and never sent to the browser.
How do I cancel PexoBot+?
On the PexoBot+ page, open the billing portal and cancel in one click. The time you paid for stays until the end of the period.
What if something breaks?
Message us on Discord. We reply ourselves, with no support desk in between. Plenty of answers are in the docs too.
